It's a month or so before Christmas. The market is virtually non existent through to early February. Don't expect to much at this time of the year.

Not quite our experience. It IS very quiet from now until Christmas, but we had lots of viewings immediately after New Year.
Some people just enjoy getting out & about looking at other people houses.......they done necessarily have any intention of buying.
But the OP hasn't even had those

it is not the best time of the year to be selling and there are certain aspects of your house that are off putting. If you use the snug as a home office then set it  up as such and make the dining room a comfortable space to entertain. We are approaching holiday time. Your lounge does not appear to have a focal point lacking a TV or other designated use such as reading or relaxing space and picture hung too high. Other houses in area are with local agents unless PB is a well known agency in the area then lots of people have negative views of them. Upstairs okay but some photos could be better, Never mind anyone saying it is rooms sizes that matter and people look beyong decor, no they don't which is why there are so many magazines and shops targetted at DIY and home furnishings.

That's because we have just entered the Christmas period where people have their minds on Christmas & not on moving home. As I've said the market doesn't really start to pick up until February.

Of course you will find someone, somewhere who will find a buyer for their home over Christmas but it's few and far between. My agents usually concentrate on the rentals market over the Christmas period because there is always work there but the sales are dead.

My mind is on nothing but moving home. Off to do some more decluttering.
  • Busiest online viewing quite typically is Boxing Day ... take off and re-list after Xmas,

Solicitors will be dealing with the "in before xmas" lot so nothing potentially will be moving until New Year
