44 panels is quite a monster of a system! Glad to know it's working out well for you :)

Hi all, I just wanted to come back to this post, and state how fortunate I was to have Screwdriva see my original post, and help me out with this.

Not only did the installers do an amazing job with quite a complex system, but I am producing around 110kWh per day, on a good day, for the same price EPC Improvements gad originally quoted me. In all honesty, I think the system will pay itself in about 5 years. If I can only manage to get our ASHP sorted, then we can truly see the benefit of both systems. Even with a SCOP 2.2 ASHP that is using up around £1200 in additional electricity a year (need serious remedial work, ASHP installed by EPC Improvements), the Solar system is holding it together and we are in quite a large credit with Octopus.

I am now referring everyone that mentions they are interested in Solar PV, to Screwdriva :) and have recently had a friend who got his Tesla system installed with guidance from Screwdriva.

You definitely need to get that heat pump system sorted. What are the issues (other than the extremely poor COP) and what remedial work needs doing?

Honestly, my first issue is finding anyone to have a look and get me a quote, without charging me £500 every time.

I am going through a Section 75 claim on it, and they want 2 or 3 quotes. I already paid for a Heat Geek Elite to provide an assessment report.

In short, my radiators have been undersized, the circulatory pumps are undersized too 2 x 15-50, I really need one commercial pump 25-120 or at least 75 80, and the short buffer design they used loses 10c due to distortion.

If it is the renewable heating hub, EPC Improvements have reached out and demanded that the article is taken down.

Yes, I bet they have. Glad to see it's still up at present. Hope Mars is able to resist any take down.
