Vinyl flooring /wall panels

We are at the stage with our wetroom extension of having the flooring and wall panels fitted
It appears that the builders intend to fit the wall panels first which appears wrong to me....
Surely the wall panels should go OVER the flooring?
Any comments

For vinyl I wouldn't be so sure, but you know better what you asked them to do.0

It's logical to fit the wall panels over the vinyl to keep water out0

Vinyl is thick, it's not film. I think there are other ways to 'keep water out' besides overlapping.1

I am getting round corner "bumpers" fitted that the vinyl covers too.
I think that the vinyl should go under the panels0 -
I have been told that you can fit them in any order !So, I'm leaving it up to them0

Normally the wall covering is fitted first with a cap strip that accepts the vinyl sheet. This way round is easier for the installer and provides a more secure bond for the cap strip as it can be tapped behind the panel as well as being fixed under the strip. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2

I understand that they are going to latex the floor tomorrow
We have not been warned of any heath implications of this such as breathing in the fumes
Are there any?0 -
MAJOR !!!!!! up by buildersLast few days - had £3000 of wall panels fitted. The latex floor was supposed to be poured this morning but the company who were going to do it are unable to pour because the floor is not level or even sloping in the correct direction
It appears that all of the concrete will have to come up - but under the concrete are concrete beams (so no power tools can be used or they may shatter) and the walls are on top of the beams !!
Also there is timber around the shower tray which is incompatible with the latex..
Finally - the latex company cannot even return until after Xmas
And the sliding door is not suitable because water will flow under it !!
We overheard a conversation between the latex company and builder this morning but the builders have not been in touch with us and have not even told us what's going on !!!
