Dot has refused to get dressed.. the usual 1-2-1 has stopped working Fridays so they are particularly difficult for her but she just will not get dressed.. she is bigger than me.. I can't just 'dress her' .. I think a 'homework catchup' is required.. that'll annoy her.
*prints off worksheets for the other 2*
I have some laundry to gather and wash.. and airer o clear.. and a birthday card to buy.. sending OH I think.

Morning everyone
@Pigpen - can you send Dot into school anyway in her PJs? Hugs to you anyway xxx
Well, we have sunshine here this morning - apparently the awful weather isn't going to return until this evening so I may be able to get some flying done!
One thing I do need to do is phone my pension company to find out why they haven't written to me about sorting out my pension now I've retired... I don't know how long these things take...

Morning all. Lovely to see you back, @Dizzy_Imp. I often wonder how you are coping when we have rain here. @toochoosey, are you another one of us who is in Wales?
Having fixed the hinges on the freezer on Monday, I think it was Monday, I now need to order a new seal for it. I though of have to pull out or to doing the model number. Then DD1 pointed out it's on a label inside the lid! Doh! Also between OH and I we've replaced the brakes on the car, needed for MOT. Hand brake wasn't holding the car. Back for MOT on Saturday. Also made more mince pies, and two lemon cakes. Moved lots more poop. Sorted and put away all the washing. Loaded and unloaded the DW lots. All flying isn't it?
@pigpen, DGC are all in pjs, pudsey day. We once fostered a girl who refused to get dressed. She went to school in a LEA transport bus. So I would put here in, and pass the helper her clothes. She was always dressed by the time they got there.
Right OH just made some coffee, so having a mince pie.
Hugs to all, mumtomamy.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.11 -
Me again. Hoovered mostly through, checked smoke alarms and did everything I said I would earlier. Now I can't be bothered to do anything else. So it's now read a book day.Spend less now, work less later.9

Weeeeekeeeennnd woot woot 😊
I had a good day at work - busy and it flew by. Had my flu jab in one arm and the covid jab in the other. First time I've had them at the same time....so we'll see how that pans out. Last year the covid vaccine knocked me off my feet for a couple of days. At least it's the weekend so I have three days to recover if required. 🤞 it's not required.
I've unpacked my lunch bag, changed into my scruffs, had a coffee, read a little, and now I'm binge watching NCIS. Mozzarella burgers are cooking for my tea.
Have a good evening
Rxx
