Ebay has loads of companies selling refurbished Lenovos. They buy them in bulk when corporations upgrade, so you can get really good condition recent machines for a good price. Make sure the seller has loads of feedback.

cex has refurbs for under £100
CeX (UK) : Stock search (webuy.com)
Or keep an eye on Lidl & Aldi - they sometimes sell kit. I got a tablet (not what you're after obviously) a couple of years back for £75.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. It will be worthless by oct 2025 as Win10 is ending so no more updates and it (very likely) wont run Win11 ...in a nutshell !
You need to get a intel 8000 series processor or later PC which were first made around august 2017
Otherwise you will end up buying twice at a much greater cost .
IMO closer to oct 2025 refurb and 8000 gen prices will likely rise
Cex in the high st or online or itzoo refurbs online are good options

Thanks to everyone for your help and advice. I have just been around to Mum's and have convinced her that W11 is the way to go so will be looking at the excellent suggestions from @Bonhomie at CEX.
Thanks again to all for your help and advice.
