Ebay has loads of companies selling refurbished Lenovos. They buy them in bulk when corporations upgrade, so you can get really good condition recent machines for a good price. Make sure the seller has loads of feedback.

cex has refurbs for under £100

CeX (UK) : Stock search (webuy.com)

Or keep an eye on Lidl & Aldi - they sometimes sell kit.  I got a tablet (not what you're after obviously) a couple of years back for £75.

  • After doing some searches I have come across this at WJMTECH would appreciate any thoughts.  Others to choose from by the same supplier here - anything else that stands out?
  • It will be worthless by oct 2025 as Win10 is ending so no more updates and it (very likely) wont run Win11 ...in a nutshell !
You need to get a intel 8000 series processor or later PC which were first made around august 2017
Otherwise you will end up buying  twice at a much greater cost .
IMO closer to oct 2025 refurb and 8000 gen prices will likely rise

Cex in the high st or online or itzoo refurbs online are good options

  • @Bonhomie suggested many which come with w11  at nifty prices.

  • Thanks to everyone for your help and advice.  I have just been around to Mum's and have convinced her that W11 is the way to go so will be looking at the excellent suggestions from @Bonhomie at CEX.

Thanks again to all for your help and advice.
