    @EssexHebridean
    49 days pre end Tariff does indeed invoke Exit Fee if changing provider.
    Is dropping to SVR option of avoiding Exit Fee, if not then 179DQ upgrade+150 SP Exit exceeds any idea of switching.

    thanks

    After BG follow call from them yesterday, I raised Dimplex request as my DQ G8 version needs control panel upgrade.
    I stopped from Dimplex rapid callback as the upgrade Includes another Dimplex Hub -which I bought when ordering DQ Heater.
    It's advised that Panel upgrade+|Hub are Bundled together which is of No use to me-their csr wouldn't offer to Remove Hub, therefore I declined to pursue BG Dimplex Tariff.

    I called BG on Monday as our Hub doesn't qualify us as our April 2022 QRF heaters are G7 and need to be at least G9... is this built in obsolescence? I'm a tad peeved to say the least as I completed the ticket with Dimplex with a surprisingly quick call back... to upgrade our 4 heaters its £445.87 fitted but I get a free hub? But I have a hub? "Keep it as a spare" was the response... so by my reckoning I have to use in the region of 9600 units of night time electric before I now save any money? We don't currently have a smart meter which I gather is free  :D

    I can only find press releases on how great this tariff is and not how VERY recent purchasers of the QRFs have been potentially shafted... anyone had any success with the vendors of the QRFs? @EssexHebridean @Dandytf @ccaasjf
