Not heard anything further since the NTK. As a matter of interest, what should I be expecting from them next and when?
Also, can anyone refer me to a thread on this or any other forums where someone won against this guy so I track the process of how it went and how it was handled? Keen to prep up on an actual scenario as I have reviewed the newbie thread already. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
Yes just search the forum for his name. You can read what letters arrived and how easily people won in 2023.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Received a 'Letter Before Claim' from Gladstones Solicitors today as per attached images.with 2 options of Pay or Dispute. They have added £70 so what started off as a £60 PCN now stands at £170 so hoping to get some advice on next steps please.
Thx in advanceIf you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
As suggested earlier, you need to be reading the NEWBIES thread.
The first few paragraphs of the second post on the NEWBIES thread describe what to do when receiving a Letter of Claim.1 -

As per the newbies thread, I will be responding to the LBC as per the generic template provided. Correct me if I'm wrong but assuming the non-POFA template is not relevant here as I'm guessing the PCN is POFA compliant?? I'm not sure actually.
Also, on the first page of the LBC, it advises about disputing the debt using a webform on their website and you need to register for that (providing personal details including phone number which I only want to share if I really have to). Is that the preferred way? Reading some other posts, one said you 'have' to use the form.
However, there is also an email address at the bottom of the page so would that be a better approach to avoid registering on their site and providing the personal details they want.
Appreciate the feedback and no doubt I'll have other queries as I read more and get into putting this together. ThxIf you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
You should ask for copies of the signs as based on this thread they are in the name of Mr Wilkins personally, rather than his company.

If you mean replying to Gladstones just fill in all your data on their portal EXCEPT the phone number. Just use the reply I wrote, the one that asks about VAT on the DRA fee.
