Morning all,
Thank you for the thread and the kind wishes. I am still not feeling brilliant, far from it, but will push on.
Since getting up at 6.30 I have:
- Fed the animals
- Got the children sorted and away to school
- Requested some meds and some cream from the GP using their online service
- Amended an online food shop
- FUPA one load of laundry that was in the TD, pegged a few things out that are now getting rained on, and set another load going which is either now draped over the airer or in the TD
- Made the beds
- Emptied DDs bedroom bin
- Sloshed bleach down the loo
- Cleaned out the LR fire and hoovered said LR
- Some paid stuff work
The place is still a midden but we push on. Take care all xx

Me again.
Second and final wash load is in machine. It's raining again but it was dry for long enough for me to walk Poppet and clear the driveway of weeds.
Dailies are done and everything is in its place throughout the house although not cleaned. At least everywhere looks tidy.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

Afternoon everyone.
K and I managed to deconstruct the sideboard far enough to make it light enough for us to carry the main section, and a very kind man offered to help lift it into my car. Getting it out again and into K's garage was relatively easy, so that job is done.
Valli, I'll stand bail for you if need be
Came home to find that DH had done as I'd asked and started his bedding swishing. Well, sort of. I had told him to put "all his blue bedding" into the WM, by which I meant everything that was blue, not just a pair of ordinary plain blue pillowcases and a grey(!) V-shaped pillowcase. He had left out the duvet and the patterned pillowcases, [screaming] doooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Anyway, he has now gone out for his soup and sandwich lunch with his wargaming pals.
I stayed here to pot up my Christmas puddings (that job took me an hour and a half, with interruptions). I have also finished off the washing and hung it all out, emptied the kitchen bins, and WULTD. I grabbed a tin of sardines (which I ate out of the tin) and some leftover sauce from a stew, and that has been my lunch. Rosie has been out with L and came home very bouncy, as she had been chasing squirrels in the faraway woods.
Now I've finished a coffee, I must be on my way to Action Heart. Catch up later xxx10 -
A la Round - bleach has been sloshed down toilets, sinks and bath and the kitchen sink has been scrubbed well and truly.
Having a relaxing afternoon now as the poppy putting up has been postponed until tomorrow weather permitting.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Sometime this week:
Mr Al shop ✅
And I bought some chocolates for S for Christmas, so I've made a note and crossed it off my Christmas shopping list.
All groceries have been put away. The chocs will be deposited in the ottoman in my bedroom. It's very handy for present stashing.

(((hugs))) ASB. I wish I could lighten your load. Self-sufficiency is damned hard work.\Rant AlertLeaves raked in the communal garden for the second time this year, this time both noisily and very obviously because I am not prepared to do it all on my own again. The next person who offers to shake one of the trees to get a few more down while I'm raking will get the rake where the sun doesn't shine. And if the person concerned was shocked by my language - good. Don't laugh at people who are working; it's bad manners and I take great offence if you're not offering to help and you're giggling.\Rant over.Butternut squash and coriander soup made with leftover roasted butternut squash from last night. Wonderful stuff. Carrot and coriander is revolting, butternut with fresh coriander is fab I've discovered. Very yum indeed. Supper prepped.Things organised, amongst which were four Ebay orders for things I actually want for Christmas that are available for very affordable prices, suddenly, that weren't available before. Nabbed.Various bits of top layer of the house vacuumed after The Dog, who is in my bad books for doing this, stole 'dog chocolate' out of the cats' litter tray and in doing so spread soft woodshavings all over the carpet. Belovéd only vacuumed those bits yesterday too. I can forgive her because, all things considered, she coped really well with the fireworks last night which were incredibly loud because there was a 20 minute organised display about 50 yards from the house. The grubbiest bit of the kitchen work surfaces cleaned properly. It's a corner where the food processor lives next to the bottles of olive oil, so it gets a bit manky after a little while. It's now sparkly.Better is good enough.10

Still feeling carp... I am all flippy-floppy.. like overcooked cabbage.. i probaby smell similar lol.
I haven't moved from my chair.. other than to drag the girls back form school. I did take DD1 a smalll bag of bits which I hope will help with the Xb0x charging dock isses.. and a new toothbrush for Jazzles. Spam got his atism diagnosis officially today.
DS2 has heroically taken Pixie to dance class.. I hate that it is after school and not on a weekend.. it makes very little sense.
Nutkin appears to have been bitten by one of the other cats.. I am assuming Spook who needs to be removed of his dinglies.
Few christmas bits arrived which need stashing.. and some decs I am most excited to get up when I have some energy .. even just a sniff of energy would be great. I woke up in spoon deficit.. it's not a good day.I have dinner to cook and pack ups to construct.. and I want to curl up in a corner and shrivel away.trying to summon energy to make a cuppa.. I am not succeeding.
