I’m retired & applied for the advanced account & have heard nothing back from HSBC. My partner also applied for same account & HSBC asked her for proof of pension, which she sent & has heard nothing since?? We both ticked the box not to transfer to HSBC & use it as our main acc.0

It's been 9 days since I received an SMS:
Thank you for applying for an HSBC account. We’re reviewing your application and will be in touch soon. Please ignore this SMS if you have chosen not to proceed.
Heard nothing since.0 -
I applied on 02/11/23 and got the ten day text message too. They asked for three months payslips a week ago, which I duly submitted. Then this morning I received exactly the same email asking for the same payslips. I phoned them and the lady I spoke to said "please just supply the payslips again" 🙄🤔
So I did. I wonder how much longer this will go on for. I must admit I'd forgotten about them until I received the email this morning.
I'm obviously past the ten days now!1 -
I applied for the advance well before the 6th - advance opened on 01/11/23 but went away for a week so couldn’t activate the app with the account info & id stuff. As soon as I did, I opened the global account & ordered card. Is there any way to tell if it was all in time? The app/global & £1500 was 12thAs long as you applied before the deadline you can still get the money
i spoke to customer service agent as I was in the same situation. I applied on the 1st of November and didn’t receive the card until the 7th
i have made 5 payments now, applied for the global account and transferred 1500
just got here and waiting now for the 1250 -
Received my £125 into the my global account this morningThanks HSBC0

i applied before the cut off date but still haven’t had the account verified and now have to provide payslips (which isn’t an issue), I assume as applied before the cut off date I’ll still be eligible for the offer?0

Borolap, yes that is my understanding from reading the offer terms and conditions, assuming you meet all the other conditions. I applied on 25 October but the account only opened last Monday. I am expecting to still be eligible for the £125+£80. Fingers crossed...0

Hi
Does anyone have a link to the offer Ts & Cs? I’ve received loads of emails & letters from HSBC but none mention the offer. I applied 1st Nov, my account was opened on the 11th and I’ve jumped through all the hoops listed below. Any ideas as to the average payout time? Is it 20 days?
Thanks for your help.0 -

I completely forgot I applied for this, I've now got confirmation my account is open and debit card is on the way.
One of the things to do to receive the initial £125 was this part:
"And crucially, open the app-only HSBC Global Money multi-currency account and order the associated multi-currency debit card."
I thought (possibly incorrectly) this was to be done once the HSBC Advanced account was open - anyone confirm if opening this Global Money account applied to the 6th November as well?
For some reason I thought you needed the current account details (which I agent got yet) to open the Global Money account.0
