How can I pass my Club Lloyds VUE tickets to a relative?

Doesn't seem to be any restriction as with public transport

I have an email dated 29 November last year with apparently six tickets on a PDF which I never downloaded, so haven't used any of the tickets yet.  If I just forward the email to them, will that be sufficient or would they need to show the Club Lloyds debit card or ID at the cinema?

  • The email is sufficient, no ID required.
  • My dad often gives me his Lloyd's Vue tickets & I've never had a problem using them

Same here, my son and his friends use our Vue tickets at the local cinema without issue.

Same here too - I send my closest friend the pdf as  I have no cinemas near to me. Never been a problem, and they love it.
I have two Club accounts so they get 12 tickets.

No need for anything other than the code on them. Some people used to sell them.

A possible gotcha is if you close the account before they are used, they will be cancelled. Again somebody previously reported selling them on eBay, closing the account, then having to refund the buyer, as they wouldn’t work.
  • Some sell them on eBay.

Tip of you do this - make sure the QR code and the code are obscured.

That's all someone needs to use them

I load up all my (more than 6, obviously) codes in to Google Sheets.

Then when a film comes out I just book it using a code, job done. Well, 2 codes as there's 2 of us.

18 films the past 12 months or at least there will have been by the time I get through Marvels & Hunger Games.

Not paid for a single one. Will be gutted when this deal no longer exists.

So all six tickets could be booked onto one screening with adjacent seats? Also, can they book them at home as I would be gutted if they set off for the venue and then found they were invalid.
  • You get a pdf containing a QR + voucher code for each ticket. You can use these to book online using the code, or have the cashier scan the QR code at the cinema. Unless they've expired (and the expiry is fairly prominent on the voucher from memory) then there's no reason why they won't be accepted. You can book as many free tickets as you have vouchers for, and it can be any combination of individual or group bookings.
  • I'm now wondering if they might have already expired because this email from October last year mentions 'this year', as if the 12 month period had already started.
