    But that doesn't help show the date a photo was taken on a phone, does it?

    It takes the embedded metadata date and time from the actual photo. The user can adjust that data if they wish but as a default it is the original date and time. In the iOS version, the style/colour/font of the timestamp can be adjusted.

    The paid for version allows other metadata such as GPS location and other enhancements.

    I just picked a random photo and date stamped it and it shows the correct date and time;

    Here is the actual metadata:

    Just thought I'd come back to update after the court hearing:
    • In total, the judge awarded £360 in costs to the defendent (payable from the claimant).

    Any instructions on the steps required on the process to get the money awarded from the claimant?
    Details on enforcement are on MCOL, but wait until the deadline has passed, typically 30 days, so maybe email them after say 40 days with a 7 or 14 days deadline to pay in full, but be guided by MCOL and don't be too impatient

    Your first contact would be their lawyers if they used one , Gladstone's was mentioned. ( Although the claimant was NPM , IPC AOS member  )

    Warrant of control is the ultimate sanction AFAIK

    But well done in beating the parasites

    Thank you, I'll take a look at MCOL and go with what you say as well as MCOL.

    Thank you again to everyone for their help.

    A couple of weeks after the court case, my father received an email from the parking company's solicitors to request the bank account details to send payment. Email was received at 6pm and the deadline for the information was 12pm the next day. They said if the deadline is missed then they will send the payment out via cheque. Unfortunately, due to the very short deadline, my father did not get a chance to reply to the email before the deadline. However, no cheque has been received in the post.

    Is this another trick of theirs to claim to have given an opportunity for bank transfer and then claiming the cheque is lost in post?

    Given the situation, what is the best course of action:
    1. Contact the solicitors to explain the cheque has not been received
    2. or wait for the deadline and file a MCOL?

    Is there a historic pattern with Gladstone/parking company being slippery with the court costs payout?
