Thank you. My father did get part of the payment but not the full amount according to what the judge mentioned at the end of the court case. How can I get a full summary of the court conclusion including the awarded amounts in writing? He never received anything in the post? If something was sent in the post then it might have been lost so is it possible to get a copy?

Would want to read the court summary first before chasing up Gladstones.

There won't be a summary of the hearing but you should get a final short judgment. Might take a month.  

Email Gladstones as him and state what the actual sum was and ask why they only sent £xxx.  Maybe they have seen an order already. Maybe their rep wrote it down wrong.

It's been over 6 weeks but no final short judgement received in the post. What's the best way to get a copy?

Email and phone is a nightmare (not sure if the court even has an email address and phone number is a mess of telephone menus without being able to get through to anyone).

I was meant to follow up just to conclude but managed to get the summary judgement from the court and then chase up with Gladstones for their payment for the full awarded amount. So all done and dusted, thank you so much for everyone's help with this and glad to see the back of this.
