Don't forget to do this - everyone who has had to suffer from a boilerplate parking claim or CCJ.

@Harvez63 have you recounted your tale again?

We have to repeat it because any submissions made last year are redundant / binned die to the change of Government.

Please everyone. This will make a difference.

See above for ideas what to say, if unsure.
After having a little break, ironic I find myself back here because of a family member, then see this tag. Must be fate. I'll have a look and see what I can do

Whilst I have not suffered from any PCNs, or CCJs, I do read the misery every day on the forum and I thought I had some good words to go along with the Judgments link BUT they only accept Word, ODT or RTF.  If I try to attach it as a Word document it is too large!  If I try to attach a PDF it tells me I cannot!  Do they want it or not?
I have sent a complaint/enquiry to their help e-mail address.
ETA They have answered and asked me to submit via the e-mail they sent me BUT the Word document must still be less than 3,000 words.  Most of the regulars will have seen the Judgments link that is now 55 pages long and, according to Word is 58 words but of course there are a lot more than that as most of the pages are pictures of judgments!  I have asked for further clarification.
ETA - Following my e-mail to the Committee Operations Manager I have had no reply so thought I would try to send what I have; I can't attach the Word document as he requested as it immediately gives a "too big for the server" message.  Cannot think of any other way to get it to them.  Why do they make it so difficult?
@Coupon-mad, you have access to the judgments link, can you think of anyway to get them to accept a .pdf?  Even if I convert it to .rtf, I guess it will still be the same file size.

Sorry I have no idea. Not techy enough! I know how to compress a PDF but nothing else.

How about one of us sends Chan and Akande and one of us sends all the strike outs?

Would each Word Doc then be small enough?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The only way to send large documents via email is by uploading it to the cloud or Dropbox and sharing the link.
Share a link to the file
    1. Upload the file to a cloud storage service like OneDrive or Dropbox
    2. Copy the link to the file
    3. Paste the link into the email message

The problem with links is that they don't always transfer, don't always open properly, or the recipient simply doesn't want to click on them.

I'll check out the relative sizes

We already have a Dropbox link, I'll try it that way.

If you Google "shrink pdf", you should get links to compress pdf files. I tried the top link to Adobe, and it shrank a file from 2MB to 500KB.

The problem is not the size of the .pdf file but that they do not allow them to be attached to the submission to the call for evidence!
I have sent an e-mail using the reply from the operations manager (as he suggested) and included my prose and the usual Dropbox link.  It has not been rejected ........... yet!
