Remove paragraph 2 (that's a witness statement paragraph) and remove the exhibits.  No exhibits go with a defence. You've been reading WS; you don't need to.

You are simply advised to do what the Template Defence thread says. It has a link to show where you slot in the Chan case to a defence.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • You must embed the CEL v Chan transcript after your para #4. You cannot attach it to a defence. It must be embedded.
  • Hi @Coupon-mad@UncleThomasCobley

Thanks for your input. I have updated the document following template, removed Exhibits, removed Paragraph 2. Added point 5 using 2 transcripts from Gargan Anthony Smith case as suggested by @Coupon-mad.
Also added "Preliminary matter: The claim should be struck out." points suggested by @UncleThomasCobley. Along with this I imbedded copy of CEL vs Chan Judgement after point 4.

Sorry I can just getting confused with all the comments and threads I am reading. One last question in the template Point 3 states "If yours doesn't state the breach, add the paragraphs and judgments seen in the defence by"

Although my form says breach of contract does that matter. "The vehicle was parked in breach of the terms of C's signs (the contract), thus incurring the PCN"

I think Auto correct did that. Fixed now.
  • Hi All,

Its been couple of weeks, I haven't heard about about anything. Neither any Directions Questionnaire (N180) or anything else. Does Directions Questionnaire (N180) comes via email or post?

A couple of months is more likely. It does say that on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence.
    It will come by post.
  • Hi All,

As suggested by forum, I applied via link and then send my defence to ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk email id but today I got judgement against me that because I have not replied to the form so a judgement has been issued to me and I have to pay £337.86.  Not sure what went wrong
