Highview Parking: claim going to court! Help!

Thanks Gr1pr. So much like my original Defence document, should I be embedding the entire 'CEL v Chan' transcript at the first instance, in the hope of a 'strike out' as their claim form did not specify the term breached? Some Witness statements seem to do this..Infact, should I also include my original defence as a separate document in it's entirety, or is that considered to be already 'on file'?0

Embedding: No.
Defence? No.You should be attaching numbered exhibits to your signed WS, which is what the a-f suggested list says, and it's what you'd see when you do the search the NEWBIES thread tells you to do, and then read recent WS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Doh!
Hold the front page! I can't believe I didn't check more thouroughly (though I would've expected a posted response), but searching in my Spam folder for a WS bundle, I came across an email from 25th October from DCBlegal:Ha! I wish I'd checked a few days ago! It would've saved a lot of grief..Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxx,

Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.

Here we go ..... 👍Coupon-mad said:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I'd like to thank you for all the fine work you people do answering our interminable questions, and say goodbye for now.. but I will be posting very shortly again with a new thread, as my partner has just incurred yet another parking fine, this time from CEL. Here we go again!

I think that you mean private parking charge notice, PCN , from CEL. ( Its definitely not a fine. )lewisham_phil said:I'd like to thank you for all the fine work you people do answering our interminable questions, and say goodbye for now.. but I will be posting very shortly again with a new thread, as my partner has just incurred yet another parking fine, this time from CEL.
