According to Delia Smith - you can!
"When the sauce is cold, remove and discard the onion, then cover with a lid and freeze. (Alternatively, you can freeze bread sauce in a freezer bag."Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Surely it would take more time to defrost & heat than it would to make it fresh on Sunday?

I love bread sauce but there will almost certainly be some left over so I'll freeze for another day... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I always make mine ahead of time and freeze it. It's perfectly fine to do so IMO.No: 171 of the "Pay all your debt off by Christmas 2012" challenge. Paid off so far :£0,000/ £1,500:o
Please excuse typos, 1) I am using an iPad and don't get on with it 2) I am disabled 3) I'll bite you if you get snarky about it.0 -
i've always made mine from scratch and i've often wondered whether it's ok to freeze as it's quite a palaver in cleaning the pan (don't you think?). when it's gone cold, it's congealed and you would have to use more milk to thin it whilst you're reheating it. is this how some you do this from frozen?:j0
