I had thought that too @Floss - maybe I'll follow your suggestion and start with one (job to stick on the list for next week!)
Today is my "official" pay day - well the date I class it from anyway, as it's when OH gets paid too! So I have done my monthly sweep up of my accounts (wasn't much!) and then shuffled money to the relevant accounts as per my spreadsheet. That included adding £250 to my EF, as a start to increasing it! Still waiting for balance transfer to go through though before I know exactly how much/ when the new CC will need paying!
Had a very brief viewing on the house earlier (working from home - although we went out with the pooch) so thought it hadn't gone well... he wants to come back tomorrow! Maybe the guy came to get a quick impressions, liked it so bringing his partner tomorrow(?!) as otherwise makes no sense as he could have hardly had more than a quick glance around! Anyway, fingers crossed!
OH ended up not needing to travel up North this weekend, however he isn't feeling great either - so I think it's a night in for us! I did go to Go Ape in the dark last night with a friend which was great fun!!! Other plans for the weekend are a baby shower tomorrow - present already purchased but need to wrap it! OH is currently planning to play golf Sunday afternoon - so I will either use the time to do some pampering/preening and clearing out the wardrobe OR abandon all the productive things I should do and go to acro instead!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Quiet-ish but productive weekend - did some sorting at OH's mum's flat, waxed my legs and sorted out my wardrobe! I currently have 3 bin bags full of stuff to take the charity shop - yes I could list at least some of it on Vinted, but some is stuff that has been on there previously and I just want it gone!
We also had an offer on the house but for less than asking and after a bit of negotiating, I think the guy is a bit of a time waster and currently not sure whether or not to proceed! In our excitement about getting an offer, we did book some viewings on potential properties but may cancel them again! OH did speak with a financial adviser to see the implications if we don't sell OH's flat prior to purchasing - need to sit down and properly look at numbers but all seems completely feasible/ manageable!
Balance transfer is yet to go through - which is annoying but only because I want it complete so I can pay off the fee! Currently have £270 sat in my misc savings, so will take the £50-ish fee from there.
Oh and we also went through the quote from the florist for the wedding - got that down from £4k to £1,800! That seems much more reasonable but is still so expensive!!! Two of the bridesmaids dresses have arrived - not so keen on one but will wait to see what it looks like on my friend - just not sure on the exact colour/ shade but that was why I ordered multiples so that I can narrow down where to buy them from!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Ok so that's the catch up - now some tasks I want to achieve this week!
- Create budget based on potential future mortgage figures
- Pay balance transfer fee once complete
- Take clothes to charity shop
- Sew button on jacket (I've done this multiple times previously so I'm not very good clearly!)
- Swatch for knitted vest (ideally want to wear over festive period!)
- Start crochet Christmas present
- Finish organising wardrobe

Grrr - I've just realised that when I did the balance transfer, I transferred the full statement balance... except I had made a payment of £60 already! So I've now overpaid the CC pay £60 and have no idea how you go about getting that back?! It's showing now but still as "pending" so guess I'll have to wait until it's cleared to try get it back - but it also means I've effectively increased the debt back up by £60 based on what is now on the new CC! Oh such a muddle and I can't wait until there is no more debt and then I can't create these types of problems for myself!!!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Ok so the balance transfer and fee are now showing on my new CC account - so I have paid the minimum plus the fee off. I think the error above (i.e. that I had "over-transferred") was actually just an issue in my spreadsheet! I'd marked that I'd already paid the minimum for this month, which I hadn't! So that's good news as don't need to work out how to reclaim that! Currently sitting at 68% of the target I'd set myself at the start of the year - however, obviously my plans have changed this then. But it is hard seeing it so far away from the target, even if the reasons are valid!
In crafty news... last night I swatched for the new vest I want to make! I went to my knit night recently and it was a stash-swap, so I put a message out before hand that I was after a couple of balls of something and ended up with nearly 6!!! So I changed my plan slightly - as it was more a case of wanting to try knitting with a particular yarn than the pattern! I'm now hoping to make a burgundy vest that I can wear over the festive period so need to get cracking! Will block and measure the swatch later today! Other plan for today is to get out the colours that I need for the crochet doll - as the first step to starting it (without actually starting it!) I'm also making good progress on the crochet blanket that I had abandoned - although it will probably get abandoned again once I get my teeth into the vest and doll!!! There's no specific deadline to it, I'd just love to get it ticked off!
Tonight is acro, so will just have a wrap for dinner beforehand! Does mean I won't have time for much crafting tonight but I did manage to squeeze so in this morning with a cuppa in bed!!!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
