What does this Plusnet email mean?

Could someone please help me understand this? Does it mean I won’t be able to make calls from January? I can’t understand why they’re switching off 3G but keeping 2G. Also when it says ‘you won’t be able to use the internet during a call’, why would anyone want to use the internet while they’re talking on the phone? I must…

@Murmansk That’s good to hear. It’s the one thing that was putting me off 1p, the payments being a bit random but it sounds more organised than I thought. I ended up swapping to EE earlier this week. It’s £6 for 5GB with free Apple Music and Apple TV for 6mths. Once the prices go up, and the perks end, I’ll likely switch to 1p.
