My cat loves Asda Tiger - more than Whiskas! It's only 34p/tin. And it generally has 8% meat in it compared to most of the standard tins (including Whiskas, I believe) which have about 4%..0

Hi Folks
Just to renew an older thread, can anyone offer advice on feeding a 13 week old border collie pup? My cat seems to thrive well on asda's tiger brand although part of me always thinks I am being too cheap and possibly risking his health over a few pounds. Zac the pup now looks like he may try to eat us out of house and home soon so i am trying to find a decent balance between the pursestrings and what is best for puppy
Thanks

Ignore what I just said about an older thread - obviously did not read to last page before posting!!

Hi everyone!!
The best tip I could give anyone is "INSURANCE" I have 3 german Shepherds & luckily I used my head & insured them all. One of my youngest babies, Kelcie became ill at just 3 months old, she was that ill I thought I was going to lose her. I took her to the vets who then said she needed to go to Chester hospital, she was there for 5 days, she had loads of blood tests, scans, ecg's etc and then of course they charge you a fortune for bed & breakfast!! The bill came to just under £3000. I pay £35 a month for all three, so that was such a relief for me as there would have been no way I could have paid this. Kelcie is fine now & being a typical german shepherd, we think she might have had a reaction to her injections. Sammy my other baby caught her claw, she had to have this removed, her bill totaled £120. Buster my big boy hurt his leg when playing with the other two and his bill came to just under £300. So hopefully now you will see anything can happen anytime, anywhere & at any age. So get your animals "INSURED" You won't regret it!!:j0 -
Totally agree about the insurance - would not be without it for either cat or dog!0

I've tried a search with no real answer. Is Vet UK the cheapest seller of Frontline tick and flea prevention drops for a medium sized dog 20-40kg.
Thanks a lot.0 -

Buy pet food in bulk online and have it delivered. You will save LOTS of money, rather than picking up one or two tins or a small packet from the supermarket!!!:: No unapproved or advertising links in signatures please - MSE Forum Team ::0
