if you get yourself into tesco, about 2 - 3 hours before they shut and keep looking in the fresh meat section and the bakery section, they will reduce the price to basic nothing, i picking up cakes for a pack of 4 for 10p and turkeys for about £1.80, mind you this was last year and it depends if they have overstocked on the items (mind you take a crash helmet and boxing gloves as the other customers are like vultures)0

LOL, that made me laugh, a women nearly knocked my son out in Iceland the other day, she had the freezer lid up, had finished looking and went to slam it down, only didn't realise my son had popped his head inside to have a look (cakes and nice things!!) She nearly took his head off!!! He was ok, and she was very sorry!!Kat :money:0 -
Just come back from my local Sainsbury's and Tesco, no bargains at all, not even a sniff of a sticker machine at the ready for the reductions.0

I was in a Tesco Metro at 10.30 this morning when it came over the speaker that all turkeys and fresh produce were now half price. Staff were bringing the turkeys and reduced stuff out in droves. I got 2 x turkey crowns for about £5 each. This store doesn't close until 4pm today.
Thought I'd pay a visit to Yeading Extra after. No turkeys reduced, only a few odd bits of meat that was being put out. I got a whole salmon that was half price anyway, but no further reductions on it. This store closes at 6pm today.
Merry Christmas :xmassmile:beer:Thank you to all posters:beer:

Posted on the Grabbit forum, Asda reduced their fresh fish to 50p per pack this morning, and whole salmon were £5. Bread was 10p a loaf, and bags of potatoes were 15p
That was at 10.00 so probably none left by now. Our local Asda closes at 6, so they need to get rid of everything perishable by then. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Went to our local tesco's one year at around 3.45 and they were giving away bags of veg as you left!0

Was in the big sainsburys in Blackhall (Edinburgh) yesterday, got some good bargains on alcohol gift set things. Jack daniels miniature and poker set, courviousier and glenfiddich sets all half price and on 3 for 2!! Full price should have been £42:eek: for the lot, got them for a total of £15:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
