Nearly 3 years ago… Christmas Eve I Parked in a car park in a town centre. It only took card and no contact number to ring as alternative. 

Unfortunately, common theme with the owner of this car park machine. It voided my payment continuously along with others there that day. (Happened to me previously in another car park they run) 
however I had to pick up this present so run quickly, picked it up. 20 mins max. 

I was at no fixed abode as of the january for 6 months. And then a year on I received a letter from BW legal, stating I owe 270 parking fine, fast forward another year of no contact… I’ve received a court form. I went only and defended this case. 

And received a letter today stating I have until next Wednesday or I’ll have a CCJ. I’ve rung BW legal who say they haven’t received update from courts with my defence and need to call the court. What do I do? Can’t get a ccj

Look at MCOL and see if your defence is showing. Did you email it?

I done it via the website. Wrote out the defence and submitted

Login to MCOL, as you did before, and copy and paste what you see under Claim History.
Should only be a few lines.

Just found it. It only says acknowledged but I definitely wrote a defence after I acknowledged this

This is the original. I sent defence straight after acknowledgment. However I’ve re typed a defence and submitted it again and it’s worked 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈

Basically, that I never received a letter of claim or any original letters. The machine wasn’t working on this day in question and there are no contact numbers on the car park site to call and pay over the phone. 

I have used this car park since and experienced the same issue with my card and my mothers hsbc card, but her Barclays card worked. Which is odd. 

Unfortunately, I had to collect a present for my son whose dad just passed away. My priority was him as we were being made homeless in the January due to his fathers death. My younger two children were too young to acknowledge the death of their father.
