Hi all just wanted to provide my last update.

On the 12th July received a letter from county courts saying that due to no mediation a court date would be set.

On the 20th August received a letter with a confirmation of the hearing which would be 18th October 2024. The court fees were required to be paid by 20th September.

I received an email from a DCB Legal representative a week after the letter stating 'their client' would be 'agreeable' to a £60 settlement. I bet they would. I realised at this point I had them on the ropes and held out again.

This morning received another email from a different representative. "Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file."

Just wanted to post here and say a massive thank you to all the guidance provided in this thread and the guidance in the other threads.

Over a year of this nonsense finally over.

    Here it comes ..... number 400! Wow.😮
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
