The advice seems to be to do nothing or contact the land owner. I am struggling to see how this strengthens my position. Again, apologies i am trying my best to follow this thread.

Yes. We advised wo options. Landowners can cancel PCNs.

But you read this advice then said you were going to do something else:

Thank you for clarifying this. Now i understand the reason to contact the land owner i can give this a try.
