Parking company have refused to supply my rejection notice codey

Hello,
I have contacted the parking company & requested the 10-digit verification code from my rejection notice.  I need this to start my appeal with POPLA. This was their reply:

"A Notice to Keeper was sent to you on the --/8/23, this gave you the opportunity to either pay the reduced charge of £60 if paid within 14 days or the right to appeal if done within 21 days, unfortunately this time frame has expired.

The account is with ---- Debt Recovery, they will if not already, contact you, it is they that you must communicate with, we cannot assist any further."

Do i have any rights to a copy of the notice to keeper?

The fine happened because i entered a 'o' instead of a '0' in the app. I was let off the another fine, which happened after this, one for the same reason. As a dyslexic person i find thier actions rather harsh and hope to start and appeal but currently they have me stumped.

    it isnt a fine
    which parking firm
did you actually appeal the pcn
you do NOT communicate with DRP
  • If you didn't appeal with the PPC, then you will not get a POPLA code. Also, it isn't a "fine" so stop thinking of as one.

You should have a read of the Newbies/FAQ thread to start with.
  • As a matter of interest, did this response come from them dated within 28 days of the parking event?
  • The reason I ask the above (unable to edit posts for the time being) is that if they do not allow an appeal after 21 days and respond as such within 28 days of the parking event, that is a failure of PoFA and so the RK cannot be held liable if they try to use PoFA and the you haven't identified who was driving.

The parking firm is GXS Services Ltd which is ICP. My appeal of a typo seems to be recognised by the BPA (British Parking Association) so i had hoped to use POPLA. Can i ask them or someone else to assist me.

Who cares if it's now with a debt recovery firm, in the parking industry they are just powerless money scammers

GXS Services Ltd are not members of the BPA'a Approved Operator Scheme so PoPLA is not available to you.

And just for information... the BPA, the IPC and PoPLA are not in the business of assisting motorists... quite the opposite.

Your best bet for assistance and guidance is to follow that offered on this forum.

Bw Legal is threatening court action now. Also GXS Services reply (quoted in my first message) stated they have instructed bw to do so. Im looking for constructive next steps if anyone can help. Best,
