Using Zoom?

A little tip for you OP. Sounds silly but draw some eyes on a piece of paper and cut them out, or even better if you have those stick on googly ones! Stick them on your computer, immediately either side of the camera lens (usually the top of your computer in line with the middle of your screen.) Look at them when answering. It's automatic to look at the image on screen of the person you're talking to, but to them that will appear to them as if you are looking down. Look at the camera lens (the stuck on eyes are to help you to do this!) and it'll appear to the other people that you are looking them in the eye.

I tried a practice run on loom but when I clicked on record it just took me to a different browser page and didn't record, then clicked on a share audio or something and it worked and managed to get it to record but it's not videoing me!!

No - Zoom is free to use. You don't even need to download it, you can just use it in your browser.

Ok so can record on Loom, not Zoom and my face is in the bottom left hand corner but after trying watch the recording it just gives the audio!   Why?

The OP doesn’t want to record the meeting. I wanted to record themselves to practice  for the meeting.
