Wasn't an interview but I had one Zoom business meeting where I swear one of the chaps was in his kilt. He also had a background of toilet rolls. Hard to take him seriously. And I met him several times in person: he did not wear a kilt then.

I do all my Zooming in "sexy newsreader" mode. All business up top, below the waist...optional.

Looks like it. Although you need a meeting to join so you might need to zoom a friend or family member and record that?

ok.  I'll try that but is there another app I can use on my laptop to record myself without using anyone else?  If Zoom has to be with someone could be awkward getting someone to help me.

I thought I did record myself but then couldn't find the recording!  Dunno where it went

Not sure quite what you want to practice, but actually getting used to using Zoom easily and without fumbling is really the most important thing.

There is an app called Loom that will let you record the screen and any audio ie mostly for practising a presentation.
