Your post says this is a Zoom interview for online English teaching, which will almost certainly require you to show a high level of proficiency in Zoom. You need to get to grips with it before the interview or you could scupper your chances within the first 60 seconds!Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!3 -
Personal comment, but I'm amazed that you managed to get through lockdown and Covid without using Zoom?
Sounds like you should get a friend or family member to train you up to practice for the interview, assuming this is the right role for your skill set (the basics requirement for this role is surely to have to have some experience of online webcam communication tools)?"No likey no need to hit thanks button!":pHowever its always nice to be thanked if you feel mine and other people's posts here offer great advice:D So hit the button if you likey:rotfl:1 -

The other options of choice for Zoom type calls could have been Skype or Teams (and probably Facetime and WhatsApp), so not entirely impossible you could get through Covid without using Zoom.

But I do know people who either didn't do any of that kind of stuff, or only did it when someone else set up the technology!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Heya. Before a Zoom call even for non interviews I make sure that I have had something to eat. I also clean my teeth and put a hair bow on plus comb it. I have a nice new water bottle as well in any case here. I smile at the interviewer. It helps to have had some formal interview practice these days especially. I have a paper copy of my existing resume to hand too. Make very sure to have a few different handy contact numbers. Good luck to you. Focus on your skills and abilities.-1

With apologies to Thara if I am misinterpreting, but some replies on this and other threads are coming across as quite chatbot like. I’m not sure there’s many people who need telling to comb their hair prior to an interview. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.5 -
Definitely not a chatbot here, but as well as ensuring my clothes were in-person interview smart (including skirt or trousers!) I'd also probably put shoes on, instead of my usual slippers.
It may sound daft, but that final step can get you better into interview mode.
Wasn't an interview but I had one Zoom business meeting where I swear one of the chaps was in his kilt. He also had a background of toilet rolls. Hard to take him seriously. And I met him several times in person: he did not wear a kilt then.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
