Stated prices always not available - which body, if any, deals with this?

Looking at the Amazon storefront for the One Click company free delivery for one item and silly prices for the minimum order quantity of 2 seems common (looked at the first few)

There's no Amazon Fresh where I am - so maybe as you're in a qualifying area you're getting directed to the local supermarket that can deliver it. I think the rest of us default to random third party suppliers.RefluentBeans said:The link goes to Amazon Fresh. Amazon fresh has free delivery over £60, and is distinct from Amazon Prime. There is no admin or P&P over that charge, so unsure where others have found that. I’ve literally completed the transaction to the point of payment. As for minimum order requirements - I’m not sure if they are legal, but the 76p for a 6 bag of Walkers (not what that was linked to clarify, but was what you stated) seems too good to be true. Doesn’t surprise me that they charge more on shipping.1 -

It's not possible to order 1 and you can't order more than 2. Don't know if you'll get any different rates if you ordered a bunch of stuff from the seller.
Really it's a problem with how Amazon's site is set up, people don't expect to be subject to such practices when buying on Amazon so they miss the delivery charge.
This exact issue has been mentioned here before, sadly Amazon is too big nowadays and not that quick to close off things like this.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
You always have the choice not to order, or not to use Amazon.5

Interestingly the original link to Walker's crisps no longer works - I wonder if it's been actively reported X amount of times and then automatically withdrawn?

Still shows for me and if I search on Amazoncymruchris said:Interestingly the original link to Walker's crisps no longer works - I wonder if it's been actively reported X amount of times and then automatically withdrawn?0 -

Who knows the complexities of the retail giant. As the form was fairly straightforward - I popped a complaint in to the CMA with some screen shots asking why 'Free delivery' becomes £19.99 once added to your basket.

I was actually caught out by this - for a different product, cat treats.Emmia said:You always have the choice not to order, or not to use Amazon.
£5ish with free delivery (which isn't a too good to be true price as it's slightly higher than the shops but less than the cost of petrol): the issue is the added delivery costs aren't actually noticeable/obvious because they're added on late in the checkout process and, if you've bought several items, it's easy to miss until you look at your statement later and think that was more than expected.
I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.0
