Further to previous comments, I have now found that even if you have the SKY £2 per day roaming pass, that only covers calls back to the UK. If, for instance, you are in Spain and call a Spanish number, you will be charged 55 per minute. Does anyone know if other operators with 'free' roaming implement such a charge?
Lebara include 100 international minutes that you can use to call within EU countries if you are roaming so unless you exceed 100 mins there is no additional charge.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Networks that still adhere to the EU 'Roam like at Home' regulations, despite not needing to since Brexit, such as O2 and many MVNOs, charge nothing extra for calls/texts/data while EU roaming. That includes calls to any number in EU.
