Ha ha - you'd be surprised! A friend with a knitting granny expressed her preference for bright colours, and easy on/easy off modern designs in machine washable yarns. She got classic matinee style baby clothes - all white pure wool with umpteen buttons, and the promise of more to come once she knew she needed to buy pink or blue wool.pollypenny said:

OP, are your family verging on being alcoholics? Sounds like alcohol is important to them. Maybe suggest that everyone drinks a lot less. Being called boring for not drinking alcohol is pretty lame. I think Sapindus had a good suggestion, just tell her you are starting to try for a baby and want to be as safe as you can.0
