    Hi all,
    I've just spotted this offer on the homepage.  Has anybody used a similar offer in the past?
    Clicking through simply takes you to the app store to get the app.
    I've installed it and created an account but there's nothing I can see relating to the £25.

    So I am assuming it is working via some sort of tracker / referal link.

    Assuming it has tracked correctly, is my thinking below correct?
    To get the £25:
    1. Deposit £500 into the "primary pocket" (no interest easy acces account)
    2. Move it to an easy access savings "pocket" at 3.51%
    3.  Wait 6 months & 10 days, after which you will get credited with £25 plus you will have 6 months worth of interest on the £500 at 3.51%

    Or does moving the money into the easy access savings pocket exclude it from the £25 offer?

    Many thanks
    I fancy doing this for the £25 and also having a new direct debit for bank switches.
    Reading the T&Cs it looks to me as though I don't have to leave £500 in Plum.
    Anyone agree that I can deposit £500 during the first month, withdraw it (leaving the minimum balance), re-deposit in 6 months time and still get the £25 incentive?

    T&Cs

    3.1 Download the Plum app using our Money Saving Expert (“MSE”) partner link;

    3.2 and, deposit a minimum total of £500, into their Primary Pocket, Interest Pockets, Plum Interest account, Plum Card Pocket or Investments (Funds, Stocks and Pensions), within 1 calendar month of creating their Plum profile;

    3.3 and, hold a minimum balance of at least £500, in their Primary Pocket, Interest Pockets, Plum Interest account, Plum Card Pocket or Investments (Funds, Stocks and Pensions), after 6 calendar months of creating their Plum profile;

    Nicely spotted.
    The problem is you won't know if it works until 6 months time. I suspect Plum may argue that it's against the spirit of the promotion and invoke Clause 7 to refuse payment

    Good point. I guess the argument for taking out the £500 for (say) 5 months is that it could be earning 5.2% elsewhere as opposed to 3.51% in Plum but you might lose the £25.

    Doing the sums on my fingers makes that £10 (Santander) and £7 (Plum).

    Is the risk worth £3? I'd say not unless that £500 is needed elsewhere.

    Thanks for your replies.

    My thinking was I might need the money for something else but I will leave the £500 in Plum and only withdraw it if I  desperately need it.
  • I have asked their Support in the chat to confirm on 14th October but they have not been able to let me know yet
  •  Anyone take part in the less generous summer offer - https://blog.withplum.com/plum-mse-summer-promotion-2023/ - and received their tenner yet?

    I made my deposit on 23/08, so should hopefully be any day now …

    I didn't get mine so e-mailed them at help@withplum.com and a week later the tenner was in my account.

    Just messaged Plum CS on this too as it’s been 90 days since my account was opened but no £10 bonus credited - by my calculations 90 days (plus 10 working days as per their T&C’s) takes the due date for payment to 7th December 2023 at the latest.
  • Has anyone else received a "Win £3,122 with Plum 💸" email? Seems you can get yourself entered into a prize draw by switching on various autosave options.
