The LG showing at £1399 here - you sure you got the number right ? - and the Sony is a rear projection set, probably perfectly nice but available for that sort of money elsewhere anyway.

sony is an LCD and not rear projection.... very tempting.. great spot.

the Sony is an LCD rear projection, and if it is the LG I pointed to then that is avaliable for £600 elsewhere

That LG is a bargain !
Not so sure about the Sony though , better with a Plasma at those sizes.

There is nothing wrong with plasmas these days, There are good points and bad points but its the same for LCD's

The screen burn is not like it first was, Its about same as getting screen burn on a general CTR tv.
