Looking at switching to Shell Full Fibre 100 from Now. Just for clarity, I understand that the open reach phone line will be redundant and a new full fibre one installed. Will open reach remove me the master socket when they install the new one so I don’t have 2 boxes on the wall. Also what’s the crack with the house phone as I’ve read shell don’t allow you to have one while Vodafone do. Can I not just plug the phone into the router like you do with other providers?0

Yesterday, Octopus purchased Shell Energy’s home energy & broadband business. You’re in safe hands. Shell Energy will keep looking after you as normal, and nothing will change for now.
What does that mean for you?
Your broadband and phone service will continue exactly as it is now, with no interruptions. If anything changes in the future, we’ll get in touch again with all the information you need.
■ Your broadband and phone will operate as usual, with your existing router.
■ There’ll be no change to your service including the price you pay. You’ll be able to use your Shell Energy Broadband account just as you have up to now.
■ If you need anything, simply contact Shell Energy Broadband as usual. You’ll be supported by the same dedicated team, and you’ll get bills and communications from them the same way you always have.
■ You can continue using your preferred payment method, which includes over the counter in Post Office branches or Payzone stores. If you pay by Direct Debit, there’s no need to cancel it.
■ If you're worried about paying your bills, Shell Energy Broadband has extra support available.

I found that messaging Shell on twitter (sorry X) got it sorted quickly, and it was applied to my account before the next payment. They asked for a screenshot of the offer, and my account details and it was sorted in 2 days.0

I moved from BT to Shell and their service is fine so far, it's basic broadband and I have my own router for wifi and just use theirs to get the broadband. It's less than half the price of BT and works the same.0

Recently, signed up to 12 months Shell Superfast Fibre Plus, took a while to receive the router with me chasing 3 times. However, looks like I have been sent the technicolor DGA0122. Should I have received the Shell Energy Wi-Fi 6 hub?
Thanks0 -
