Ten minutes consideration period plus ten minutes grace at the end. No use to anyone if the app doesn't actually work quickly after parking.
You've no idea how EMPTY that car park is every time I drive past it!
Surely the penny has dropped with Periworld by now. Smells of urine but it's sort of central for some places. That old place has potential to be a decent car park for locals & visitors to Brighton, to make them money fairly.
Instead, they let OPS sue people.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Our court date on Monday vacated at the last minute due to lack of judges and to be re-listed at a later date. Thank goodness I hadn’t printed my 2 bundles for the court.2

Just an FYI - court date now scheduled for 6 May. QDR sent an advocate for the previously vacated date so had to pay them. Will let the forum know of the outcome. First thing will be to challenge the Right of Audience to whomever they send this time. Just want it to be over really.1

Will write more later but attended court this morning and the judge dismissed the case, awarding us £95. We thought it would be because the Entry Signage wasn’t compliant with BPA entrance sign guidelines - but it was more because we were ‘in consideration’ of entering into a contract to park and there is a minimum of 5 minutes for this consideration. It can vary according to the situation. If we hadn’t entered into a Contract, then there can be no ‘Breach of Contract’. Glad it’s over and life can move on. Judge Lieberling was very helpful in guiding the Defendant, I was not allowed to talk to the Judge directly only if the Defendant asked me for information. Cheers all!7
