Around that time, it went up to 15 minutes due to complaints exactly like this.

I wish people wouldn't use Vantage Point. There's literally no need to go to that urine infested grotty part of the City and get scammed by a firm that just needs Googling.

It is so sad when people use it. When I drive past there's never a car in it, for obvious reasons because no local would go there.

The sign does NOT have the fake £70 fee in any legible text or specified at all.

I bet the contract with Periworld Ltd still has a minimum 10 mins grace to purchase a ticket/payment session . 

5 mins grace if vehicles are parked outside the bay. 

15 mins for delivery vehicles to retail units . 

No wonder the place is empty and will do everything in its power to issue PCNs to ensure they can pay Periworld £1350 a month in accordance with its contract .

Can’t stand this despicable firm .

Ah the one I have is from 2/1/2019 .

Ah we have an email dated later, where the landowner admits they changed it to 15 minutes, as if that's a good thing / sufficient!

It was a case I did about 4 years ago . Pulled  a trick against them .   

It was a hopeless case where there was only the fake add on to defend under Pofa . 

Rather than ignore and defend that only - I advised the Keeper to carefully pay £100 with the LBC forms noting the reasons why only partial admission of liability and stated that payment of £100 will be paid in due course . She paid it . 

DCBL issued a claim form for the full amount rather than just the add on - easily  defended under the fact the core charge was paid before claim was issued therefore the amount claimed  was false. 

And the Keeper, under Pofa 4.5/4.6  isn’t liable for any other charges or damages  claimed.  Attached the Explanatory Notes that was  attached to Schedule 4 . 

DCBL took this all the way to court - the Judge  was not happy and awarded her costs of £95 or something like that .  The PCN only cost her about a fiver to park in the end lol .  Quite reasonable I say !

@ParkingMad has reminded me that it's the grace period that's 15 minutes according to the email we have.

I would ask if anyone has photos of the Vantage Point Brighton Carpark from 2022?  It was while the JustPark app was still being used.  We did go back and take pictures but the phone used was lost and the photos along with it.
