Not sure of the state of the roads outside town but the coast road is open.
We saw 2 Jet2 flights coming in last night and 1TUI.
We are due to depart this evening (TUI) and we have been emailed our pick up details.
Much more was open yesterday in Skiathos Town than on Wednesday.
It's a fine day today.

I believe they were empty as both TUI & Jet2 cancelled flights out to Skiathos for yesterday.
We have been told by TUI that we are being picked up as normal for our evening flight home today.
We have also been told that we can keep our room on until we are picked up (18:00) as no guests are coming in.
Also heard that the empty hotels will be used to house locals who have had to evacuate their homes. But that's not verified. Also heard from the same source that the island will close the season early and no more people will be flown out. Not verified.
TUI have not said this on their website.

ETA:
Just looked on EMA website and the flight out that will collect us is cancelled so I guess that will come out empty.
Hope it is coming.

TUI plane G-TAWI is scheduled to do EMA to Naples this morning, and then back. It then has nothing programmed afterwards other than the cancelled EMA to JSI leg so thats likely the one thats going over.

I am sure i read on Facebook that TUI were allowing customers with holidays booked to go Skiathos to change their destination with no admin cost and a 10% bonus plus a £100 voucher for another holiday in the future ,do not know if this is still the case ,i would ask TUI if available if you do not want to go to Skiathos.

Are businesses etc operating as normal?
I just would hate to get there and the island not be in a state for accommodating guests.
