The key facts for the edge saver also state a maximum of two accounts one for each edge current account.

I already have an Edge current accountI and have just tried converting an Everyday current account to an Edge current account but the system won’t allow it. It will only allow our joint 123 lite account to be converted to a second Edge account therefore it appears only one sole and one joint account is allowed per individual.2 -
where_are_we:
You have 4 edge savers, Is that 2 yourself and two your partner?
So I guess it would be 16k at 7% if you maxed out the four no?
is it a big hassle to create the four?0 -

I have an Edge current account (£0) and Edge Saver (£4k). My daughter has an Edge current account, Saver and Easy Access, and she has over £13k between them.
Just tried to open a joint account to switch into and allow us both to set up additional Edge savers, but have been declined. I suspect it is because she is young and doesn’t have much of a credit history, although the decision seems strange given we both already have accounts with decent funds and didn’t apply for an overdraft. Was hoping to avoid having to go into a branch but looks like will have to after all to see if they can override the decision.0 -
When I try to ipen a second Edge Saver, it says congratulations you already have an Edge Saver 🤦🏽♂️
Do I first need to open another Edge current account?0 -
AndyW79 - as allegro120 has already said if you and your partner are already customers the process is quick. My partner and I already had a joint 123lite. We then each opened an ECA followed by a linked ES each. Then we opened a joint ECA followed by a linked ES each. So in total we have a single ECA each plus a joint ECA and 4 single ES`s.

I wait with bated breath...)
What alternatives are people going for in May when Santander drop the rate from 5.2% to 4.2%? There are still the Santander Edge accounts paying 7% on up to £4,000. Paragon are still paying 5.25% (only 2 withdrawals allowed each year) and Coventry 5.2% (only 3 withdrawals allowed) for those who opened accounts when they were available. Ulster Bank is still on 5.2% and that savings account is still open to all. You have to open a current account to get it but there's a £200 switch incentive available on the path to getting there.0 -
