  • Hi B789,

Yes, I have entered the large bold Claim No. but the N244 asks for:

    Claimnant’s name (including. ref)

    Defendant’s name (including. ref)

  • under DCB Legal Ltd's phone number on the claim form there is an 11 character reference, is this to be used for the Claimant's reference?
  • can anyone help?

If you don't have a ref. for the claimant and yourself, just put the names down.

THe guidance notes don't even bother to mention it:

    also my/Defendant's reference for N244?

is it the small 7 digit number above the QR scan on the claim form?
That asks for 'the Defendant's ref.'

    YOU are the Defendant.

As you are not a company or solicitor you don't have a ref.
INCLUDE THAT 4 PAGE JUDGMENT AS AN EXTRA EXHIBIT (merged PDF single page in the right order) AND REFER TO IT IN YOUR WS AS 'PERSUASIVE' AUTHORITY THAT THIS CCJ SHOULD BE SET ASIDE AND THE POORLY-PLEADED CLAIM STRUCK OUT.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi Coupon-mad,

Are you saying to attach the Contestor Legal Services letter as persuasive authority?

Just want to check something, my Claim Form does encompass Particulars off Claim, I presume this is standard and generic from DCB Legal Ltd?

Everybody's claim form has a POC (Particulars of Claim) the point is whether or not those particulars actually state what the breach of conditions is; often they just state "breached the terms and conditions on sign" but don't state "by failing to pay", "by overstaying", "by parking outside the painted lines" etc.
  • I'm also unsure of these on the N244:

    8. What level of Judge does your hearing need?
    leave blank?

    9. Who should be served with this application?
    Highview Parking (claimant)?

9a. Please give the service address, (other than details of the claimant or defendant) of any party named in question 9.
Do I provide Highview's address (Jack Straws Castle) even though claim form states 'Address for sending documents and payments' as DCB Legal Ltd, Direct House etc?
