On holiday when a letter arrived

  • No-one posts stuff to the black hole CCBC!

You email a DQ to the two recipients you are required to send it to, exactly as explained in the 12 steps in the Template Defence thread.

The NEWBIES thread states how to answer the questions.
yes that was an error on my part, but the actual question is what do i do when I email it back 11 days late because i was on holiday.
    Nothing.

It's not late. They only just posted this batch.
So when it says that the questionaire must be returned by the 18th August thats all total BS? weird.

And the answer I gave you was intended to say you do nothing other than send it as you would if it was in time.
Do you feel you want to draw attention to it's lateness?
It really doesn't matter that it is a few days late.
This is one situation that when the CCBC realise they haven't received your completed DQ they'll write and give you another seven days to comply.

Thank you, that us 110% helpful, much appreciated. thank you.

    Yes.

Did you miss the 4 or 5 other thread exactly the same as yours, all with envelopes posted in August by the CCBC some 3 weeks after the letter is dated (and after the deadlines in the letters)?

The CCBC is in a complete admin mess.

The court won't ask you why it is late because you are dealing with an admin centre - the CCBC.

    Many Thanks;

Not sure which email to send it to though at UKPC, the only email they have is the sales one, so i guess i should just send it there and they should in theory forward it on?

You don't send anything to the parking firm!

That would be like buying a flat and randomly deciding to bypass solicitors (which are used for a reason) and sending an important form direct to the sellers at home.

You are not dealing with UKPC themselves.

Indeed.  And to whom does your claim form say all correspondence must be sent?

Firms and individuals use a solicitor for a reason. This is a legal process.

You are not dealing direct with UKPC - just as if you were buying a flat. The seller wouldn't be the solicitor either!  You still wouldn't send forms to that person at their home.

Understood, this is all now filed with the court and DCB Legal.

i do expect this to go to a court hearing all the way so It's time for evidence collecting,
Who usually presents evidence first at a hearing as I really want to view their evidence.
