Has anyone seen these EV Chinese cars ?
They are a league away from previous Chinese cars
Especially the "SEAL" - it is an extremely good looking car
Shame about the names though
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

I agree they look good and they seem o have good safety ratings.
I understand none are quite yet available but the first will be the Atto3 which I saw in a press release as not particulalry keen pricing when compared with Tesla so that will make entry into the market challenging.

"from £36.5k"
TM3SR today is £40k for stock vehicle. When I ordered mine in June (quarter end) the TM3SR was £38k.0 -

It's too early to consider BYD as they only have 4 dealerships in the UK at the moment. More dealerships in the future and the right pricing could make a difference.1

I'm at least two years away from buying my first EV but the BYD saloons are already on my radar. As above more dealers and aggressive pricing will certainly help.
There's no reason to believe that Chinese makers won't do well in this sector given their investment in the technology.

BYD EV technology is already in widespread use in the UK bus industry, including all the buses in this neck of the woods. It's well proven.Dave_5150 said:I'm at least two years away from buying my first EV but the BYD saloons are already on my radar. As above more dealers and aggressive pricing will certainly help.

Meanwhile, the Chinese economy seems to be in dire straits, which may lead to even more aggresive pricing.0 -
And most of those are probably now required to get a decent NCAP score.MouldyOldDough said:All have (as standard) :Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) & Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA) & Front Cross Traffic Brake (FCTB)

I could never buy a car called "Build Your Dreams".
Plus, I think everyone should think hard before buying Chinese goods. I've been doing so for the last 4-5 years. It's hard (so much is manufacturered there) but I personally would never buy a product made in China by a Chinese company.3 -
Well that's taken out the majority of today's technology.boxosox said:I personally would never buy a product made in China by a Chinese company.3
