Dinner is in the oven and smells delicious. Animals have had their tea, DD and her friend have been for a walk on the fell. Cheeky little beer now with tea and an early start for the car boot sale (buying, but budget of £15 set and I NEED some items so have a list written) xx

Congratulations on the new job ASB x
Hope the move goes well Natty x
We had a busy week. DS2 turned 21. He didn’t like all his gifts and told us so in true autistic no filter. We had a discussion about not hurting people’s feelings but ended up bringing some things back with us.
We spent a couple of nights on the east coast. The hotel’s air-con was broken so we boiled.I have caught up with the laundry. Iron mountain is looming.
I have varifocals too, I have to take them off at work. I can’t get my screens in the right place.Master bed changed and cases unpacked (top of wardrobe dusted before cases stored)8 -
Congratulations on the new job asb 🍾🍾
Does anyone have a magic wand on them at all? I need to wave it at house so that the packing, we need to do, is done. I'm finding it very overwhelming to the point I do one of two things - throw all the decluttering away without looking or not do it at all.
I have lost count how many black sacks DH has taken down the tip and that's just my stuff...lol
The freezer is looking distinctly emptier now, I am trying to do freezer meals for DH in the week. So far no oddities but I think there may be a couple of odd ones this week as there are a couple of packed up individual portioned food in there. I still can't decide if we are taking the fridge with us or leave it behind. I keep hopping between staying or going...lol
My sister has been round to the new house to take window measurements for me and I have ordered the flatcat screens for every window. They are coming here so I can install them when we get there on moving in day. Then I can open the windows without worrying about the cats getting out 😉👍
I now have one cat who won't eat and has been puky this morning. She's been fast asleep all day apart from getting up to go for a drink then back to sleep. I'm wondering if she had a dodgy stomach and the malt paste I gave her earlier helped it along the way.
If not it's a vet trip on Tuesday and hope she doesn't need anything too drastic as it's only 13 days till we go.
Oh well back to the wardrobe...more decluttering/throwing out.
Oooh must remember to email the packers to see what exactly we have to pack up so they can do their packing.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Natty.. have you tried snapping your finger like Mary Poppins? If that doesn't work I recommend dragging in a few friends and giving them a room, several boxes, tape, newspapers for protecting pretties and a marker to write on the box which room it is from.. a glass of whatever they prefer and turn the music on.. It works a treat and much less tiring.
Washing in, in plenty of time before the thunder hit and the rain came thrashing down.. Polly dragged in all spiky and grumpy.. but dry..
OH has been and fixed EC's curtain pole and taken her a case and other stuff.
I want to bobble to my mothers before we go on Tuesday to sort out meals and stuff.. I also need to confirm what DD2 and GF are doing.. I am so angry my bones hurt.
Packing done for Squeak and the 2 going to DD1.. I cannot find the girls toiletries bag which is annoying... it will turn up I guess.
Best feed the gremlins.. and fold the next bits aired in the TD and reload the DW.. and get the box of new towels I am saving until Moomin moves out put away.. she has trashed all my lovely ones with hair bleach/dye so I have new ones for when she moves out. I should feel mean.. but I don't.
OH can clean litter trays I think.

So…
I invited the family round for sunday lunch. Bobbed to Mr M for meat, with the intention of getting a big chicken or gammon. Bought a gammon joint, did the whole cook/prep myself so v. pleased about that - clearly got a good stock of spoons at last, then we went to the pub for the quiz…all of us. Making memories with the aged ps. And we won…after a sports tiebreak which i took - lucky guess. There were two further games…mum could cope with the sticky bingo so that was cheering.
Came back home, emptied and re stacked DW and WUALTD. Went back in the kitchen to see water … seems there’s a leak from the sink drain somewhere. Mopped it out, Stuck an old washing up bowl under there and came to bed by which time it was gone midnight!
