Morning all,
Another busy day ahead here. I have just fed the animals, and spent some time sorting (hahahhahahah) my bank account. Fresh day and fresh mindset. I have attempted to write down all my spends for a month before but have always tripped up along the way.
Well it starts todayI started at £0 yesterday
, been paid so I have exactly my wage to spend and no more. Let's see how it goes!! Managing to reduce animal feed costs quite a bit ATM by getting lots of waste F&V and bread. Soon be apple season then the pigs will be very happy!
DS is on a (free) day out today, DD is with me at work. I have got the components out of the freezer to put a pork bolognese mix in the SC tonight. I do need to get butter but that can wait until tomorrow.
Washing already on the line too. Right I had better shifty on, have fab days all xx

Upstairs windows cleaned today - used the Asd@ foam cleaner, and a couple of cloths. Cleaning in small bouts is working well for me so far. I want to clean the bathroom floor next, but that's probably going to be tomorrow morning or evening now depending on how my energy levels are."Think of many things, do one"

Hallooooo! So sorry to have been awol. Honestly not my fault this time! A numpty managed to cut cables last Friday which killed internet for the entire village until last night. BT was telling everyone that it had to be inside their property as the service looked fine….errrr, excuse me, how many complaints from one area, and alarm bells didn’t ring. Anyhoo, a very nice couple of men from Open Reach knew better, and slowly, slowly sorted everyone out. And ta-da, I am back, and DH can stop sulking and wire himself back in to his iPad.I have just read along some of last week and this week. Congratulations to Natty & Dave! Narc0, I hope you are ok and that Mr N is on the mend. The rest of this year needs to just be so much kinder to you. ASB - congratulations on the new job, my lovely! Kazm, take care of yourself. Hugs to anyone else who needs one.
Here we still have builders, but *whispers* I think we may be heading towards rebuilding by the end of this week. Cooking is an event and a surprise every day. Dust is everywhere, even after I made an effort at the weekend. The wm has been earning its keep, with DD working festivals most of the time, coming home covered in mud. I have 2 knitting projects on the go and another that I want to start. Add those to the sewing project started but not finished, and the material that arrived yesterday (to make a dress for a wedding in September…as if that is going work out!), and an allotment sinking into chaos. Paperwork admin is piling up, and the allotment has finally spun out of control. I think I need to find my wings and dust them down, and fast.9 -
Just checking in so hope everyone's ok.
Exciting news Natty and I agree with you on Valli's maggots!
Tuesday's bathroom flying amounted to a sweep of the cobwebs and bleach down the bog.
Today has been zilch as it was my longest day at work and DD picked me up and took me over to Dad's as it was his birthday, 86 today bless him. It was lovely to see him relaxed, some of Mum's carer's had brought him little gifts and a couple of old workmates had taken him for lunch down the pub. It was also great to be able to sit on a clear sofa that is usually cluttered with mum's equipment. Luckily DH had done the dinner this evening and I have been trying to make a gift for little work experience lass who leaves tomorrow. It's not going well so will probably need to go via a shop for chocolates in the morning.
Tomorrow is another long day, and then Friday I think I will work from home so I can finish at 430 to head up to the hospital, guessing she isn't going anywhere in a hurry as they still don't know what is going on.
Hopefully catch up with you later in the week x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!9 -

Good Morning ladies
Natty I am absolutely THRILLED for you. Well done my lovely. Wishing you many years of happiness and contentment in your new home.
Busy day yesterday at work. I planned for an early night but decided to get the bolognaise in the slow cooker, even though I was dog tired, and the kids helped. It smells delicious this morning; we added HG grated courgette and mushrooms from the waste food place to bulk it out. Will assemble it into a lasagne for tomorrow night's tea.
On to today, I need milk and butter, and to collect some veg from a friend. DS is going to a friend's this morning, DD is with me again at work bless her. I will hoover through downstairs after work and it will be something with chips for tea.
Have lovely days all xx10
