OK, once you've signed and dated it and added your own name & claim number etc., email it as a PDF (obviously not a word doc) as the Template defence thread explains.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I always worry when people say the above. I imagine someone printing their whole document, signing the last page and then scanning the whole lot back into their computer in order to save it as a PDF file.

In reality, there is no need to print a single thing! Just either scan or take a photo of your signature on a blank piece of paper and overlay it on the document which you save or export as a PDF file.
  • That's exactly what he was going to do - print and sign as per the instructions. I know there was an e sig option described too but just thought that would follow the main instructions. Will do one or other this week.
  • What was the outcome of this please? Im just starting to write my defence for Starbucks at Stanstead

Best bet is to a) start your own thread and 2) search the forum for similar issues, there are loads of them.
  • We received a letter from the court saying that MET parking services had to serve more detailed particulars of claim or the claim would be struck out. Just today a letter arrived from DCB Legal with more detailed POC and attaching a response pack. I assume a response is not required until and unless the MCOL page is updated and the court sets a deadline?

In that letter from the court, were there any instructions for you, the defendant.  Were you instructed to file and serve an amended defence?
