The above is a new one to the Justice Committee, just to be clear.

Currently open for two more weeks.  Not the same as the DLUHC's own Call for Evidence as I asked you to kindly do in August.
Did you miss this post?  :)

I think my post explains what to put.  You can copy some if it but 'make it your own'.  Motorists need a pre-action protocol and ADR and it should not be possible for half a million parking claims p.a. to flood the small claims track.

Or copy some words from the link I gave you.

Thanks!  This one is vital to get the MoJ and DLUHC on the same page re ADR and a new pre-action protocol.

This framework to stop the court tsunami is JUST as important as the Code itself.

  • Good day, I believe I have done it correctly.

I have also received an post from court, and also a recent email from BW legal Please see attached.

have not posted earlier Since Annual Leave and was away.

Also the email from BWlegal as per below:

    "Good morning

I am the case handler in respect of the above matter, which is listed for a hearing on 22 March 2024, with parties due to file and serve their witness evidence by 8 March 2024.

In an attempt to resolve matters, my client on a strictly without prejudice basis has proposed to offer you a without prejudice offer of £1,440.00 as full and final settlement to its claim. Our client is happy for you to set up a repayment plan for this amount should you not be in a positon to make payment in full.

In the absence of any settlement, we remain instructed to continue with the legal action on your file.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,"
  • I also Would like to add, as previously we discussed the primacy of contract is my main defence and also I would like to add that previously before this company came, never had a problem, so as I understand is there a permit or not they have no right and also no background to request any kind of money from me ?! O.o

Exactly. I spotted that too.  So you ignore BW and don't point out they have the deadline wrong...

Come back here on 4th March to discuss.

Given that it's Southampton, maybe they haven't made a mistake!
