What colour door knobs are fashionable these days please?5 -
It is true, I have always been a magnolia type of person as I find it makes the rooms look like they have an internal light switched on somehow.
I must concede however, that some regard it as ‘nursing home chic, with a side of prosthetic limb’ as someone once noted,
It is a good job I am not overly sensitive and do not regard myself as Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen!..Probably more Jim Bowen asthetically!2 -
Indeed. I learned a lesson when I painted a large hall and stairwell a fashionable colour. Every mark eventually meant that the whole needed re doing.
I discovered magnolia could be touched up with no fading or change of paint colour and I became a fan.
Love to see other peoples creations though.
I think the room looks fine. Smart, modern and lovely view.
Remember however much effort you put in it will never be someone elses taste. You have to do it for yourself.
I think the original design of the wardrobe was a take on French Classic which fitted the theme popular a few decades ago.
Using that search shows the wardrobes are now being fitted with mirrors.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
