Be Aware - Easyjet 'Policy' Change - Extra Legroom Seats

As of 19th June 2023 Easyjet (under the radar as far as my countless searches tell me) have changed their policy for those paying for extra leg room.
Prior to this date, all extra leg room seats booked and paid for were also allowed speedy boarding and one extra small cabin bag. After 19th June the only bang for your buck you get is the small amount of extra leg room. If you want speedy boarding or an extra bag add on at least £20 per 'extra'!!
We booked our flights in March but only reserved the outbound seating (technical issue by Mr FB in charge of booking!), when checking in for our flights this week I noticed no extra baggage allowed on the return flight.
The 'helpful' Easyjet customer services (CS) team tell me I'm welcome to pay £18.99 to bring a bag back that they have allowed me to take out for free. According to CS team, all Easyjet account holders were notified of this change. I don't have an account and surely this is a change to the T&Cs/policy provided to me at the time of booking? Apparently not. Apparently it's my fault for not booking the seats early enough!
Good luck budget travellers!

That's interesting @Mrs_FB
What I noticed on my June out /July return easyjet flights was that very few of the front seats were occupied, both the extra leg room and the more expensive to book seats. There were also gaps around us in the next tier of pricing.
It seems that passengers are voting with their feet (or legs 😁) to buy up the cheaper options.
Obviously, on a fully booked flight that wouldn't be an option. ☹️1 -

But Easyjet have not changed their T&Cs/policy for your old booking. The change was made for new bookings from a certain date. You had not booked your return flight by that date so the new revised policy would apply to the new purchase of your return flight.0 -
