I suppose even an unfavourable decision on the tenancy succession is better than no decision and hopefully there will be no request for money.
good idea to raise a glass to the loved ones who have been at the forefront of your thoughts for various reasons. I'll raise a glass to my mum later.

Thanks @Blackcats, that's what I'm trying to focus on. Hope you and the essence of your mum enjoy your glass of something nice x1

Apart from all the work today I did my COA for main bank, apps are on the to-do list
Did electoral register COA
Worked out how much I owe mum for upping her council tax bill so will set aside some of the aforementioned money for that
Did a coop survey and, uncharacteristically, gave up on one from another survey provider as it said it would be five minutes but after five minutes I was only 39% through and they started asking me the same bl**dy questions and I just do not have the energy for their nonsense today
Mr PIP and I picked up three Olio books which look interesting but if not can go in the ziffit pile, and I found 1p
Decided that it was a needing chocolate evening, and coop offers this week had 50p off a galaxy product and 40p off fruit, and there were reduced raspberries which I love but never get as they're so pricey, so with offers and reduction we got a pack of raspberries and a so-called sharing bar of chocolate for a total of £1.05
Dinner this eve is pasta, with a fancy cheese sauce we picked up from coop yesterday reduced to 57p
Up early tomorrow for more work and hoping that a new phase of being given answers so we can get on with our lives is being ushered in

Late with a reply but I have done similar maths. It never sounds like that much when you break it up oh just 76 lots of 1000 (to pay off my mortgage).
Dunno how uber works as we don't have it here but I have worked for deliveroo and they do pay us extra at busy times.0 -
Exactly @WelshmansDaughter how hard can it be?! 😂
That's good if Deliveroo pass the extra on, I must admit to not having a high opinion of the company after I waited for an ambulance with one of their bikers who'd been hit by a car and called them from his phone at his request and they were more concerned about getting his bike back than about him! Maybe that was just a bad manager though0 -

Spent ages searching on Amazon trying to take advantage of their £5 off £15 deal but there wasn't a single thing on my Christmas ideas list that they had results under the deal category for! Has anyone been able to use that offer and if so what did you get?!

I came up as not eligible for all the various Amazon offers - almost certainly because I've used them before, in fairness! I did try for the photo app one, but realised subsequently that I must have done that before too as I do have a few pics stored there! So that one will be a bust too.
We always appreciate an "absent friends" toast over a beer or several - having been members of CAMRA for a very long while, we've lost a few older friends over the years and "absent friends" is always a toast at the staff party at the Great British Beer Festival - I think most of us have a few folk who immediately come to the forefront of our minds on that one.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks, @PennysIntoPounds - I have been reading up on the gut microbiome & it is certainly proving to be interesting research. Our diet is so very different to that of our early ancestors, & that is the problem, that in evolutionary terms, there just has not been long enough for our systems to evolve so as to thrive on the processed goo that we eat today. Our neanderthal ancestors must have had oodles more of the beneficial by-products of the various gut bacteria strains because they would have eaten so much more fibre. Rum things, bodies. Like cats, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
