I've been using Tandem since April and the only issue I have with it is that it takes about 15 mintues for money transfers to go to my linked current account, and from that account to Tandem. I only transfer money to my current account when I'm about to make a purchase so this isn't ideal. It's the only account I've experienced this with and all my others make instant transfers. I'll be closing it once the bonus interest rate ends.
Does anyone know if the open banking connection can be cancelled at the current account bank end once there is a Tandem link?
Yes this is an inherent part of Open Banking. The exact process will depend on the bank but for example TSB you select "Manage Data Sharing". For each connection there's a "Stop Sharing" option.
