Really poor security. The phone text message is the only thing protecting your account.

The worst a hacker could do is make withdrawals to a current account in your name.

Slightly concerning that I just tried to in app chat with an advisor about an account which I have just opened, but they have no advisors available to speak to ? Also no answer at all on their phone line. Doesn't fill me with confidence about transferring them my money...

I opened an 18 month fixed saver with Tandem. Funding from my linked Halifax current account by Open Banking failed (it said I was exceeding daily limit, which I was not). I transferred direct from Halifax to my Tandem account which worked fine and funded it over a few days (daily limit £25k).

I think they need a bit of slack, its the top paying easy access account by some stretch and only went live recently.

My chase account does not link so decided to call them. Could not get through so just opened a sole account with FD to link it with Open Banking, took 15 mins in total.

I decided to go ahead and open...all went rather smoothly. I personally found it took maybe 20 mins for the money to register in the account after I transferred, slightly annoying (used to instant lol) but nothing that overly bothers me. So far so good! Thanks for all the advice

I've been with Tandem for a while and haven't had any issues, I find the app easy and yes it's  basic but is that an issue; not for me.
If I can use the app and the % rate is good then it works for me.
I've found in life people with write reviews when there's a problem (bank, shopping etc) but fewer write when things are positive ad that's just the way it goes but if Tandem is offering what you want then go for it

I just opened it today after still waiting for Saffron to post me my user ID on their 4.6% easy access! It was very quick with funds arriving in a few minutes. I clicked for the 0.35% top up so got the 5%.  Didn’t choose to share the extra info, just the mandatory bits. I’m okay with that.

Has anyone timed how long it takes Tandem to transfer funds out to the nominated bank account? Secure Trust takes about 4 hours if it's a weekday and if it's a weekend, don't even think about it till Monday evening!

Average time for various amounts over the last 7 or 8 months is about 15-20mins
