Tandem - Open Banking with unused bank

im finding the app works fine for me, im on android 10.

It's a basic app, does what it needs to do, can see your balance, m0ve funds in and out, connect other accounts, sometimes simplicity is more effective.

Did the same to me with Natwest but I logged out of tandem and back in and then linked an account and it worked fine.

Yes this is fine, as long as the linked bank allows open banking (most do)

Suggested banks by Tandem are all Open Banking, but that doesn't mean you can't use non-OB banks.
They just have to be manually connected on request.

Use chat to make your request. Give them your bank's details. They will probably ask you to send them a statement to prove the account is yours.

Ok, may be doing something wrong but the app gives me no chat option. It gives me the option to set up open banking and thats it.

Button at top right of Home Screen (iPhone). Only open Mon-Fri 9-5 though.

I've made hundreds of transactions with the tandam app, never had a problem. It's an ultra basic app, fine by me.

I am v happy with tandem. 

Downloaded app, opened the account, funded it using open banking thingy which I’d never used before all in about 30 mins…

The funds used were in Raisin and I much prefer the Tandem app…nothing left in Raisin now

Still not seeing that as an option. Get the home page asking for login details or set up new account, if I follow the login it goes to the list of banks but no button for chat/help
